Cashbuild Online Refunds, Returns and/or Exchanges
1. CASHBUILD STORE REFUNDS, RETURNS AND/OR EXCHANGES
1.1. Products that are defective, or not defective ("change of heart") or not suitable for the purpose for which it was purchased may be returned to us at your cost within 3 months from the date of purchase for a refund or an exchange.
1.2. You may return any product in good condition at your nearest Cashbuild store for a refund or an exchange consideration provided that:
- 1.2.1. You present the original proof of purchase / online tax invoice at the store.
- 1.2.2. The product purchased is unused.
- 1.2.3. The product purchased is in its original packaging.
- 1.2.4. The product purchased is in a sellable condition.
1.3. Products that have been used, purposefully damaged, or tampered with cannot be refunded or exchanged.
1.4. All refunds are processed through the selected service provider.
1.5. Refunds may take up to 10 working days to reflect in your bank account.
1.6. If paying with a debit card, a bank account confirmation document will be required so that your account details may be verified.
1.7. No cash or credit refunds are permitted.
1.8. In terms of industry standards, there is a 5% breakage allowance for deliveries on concrete tiles and bricks.
2. ONLINE ONLY PRODUCT REFUND, RETURN AND/OR EXCHANGE
2.1. Products that are defective, or not defective ("change of heart") or not suitable for the purpose for which it was purchased may be returned within 2 weeks from the date of purchase for a refund or an exchange. Arrangements will be made with the logistics company for collection, and arrangement will be at your cost.
2.2. “Online Only” products MAY NOT be returned in-store.
2.3. You may return your Online Only product for a refund or an exchange consideration provided that:
- 2.3.1. You present the original proof of purchase / online tax invoice.
- 2.3.2. The product purchased is unused.
- 2.3.3. The product purchased is in its original packaging.
- 2.3.4. The product purchased is in a sellable condition.
2.4. If a return or exchange is required for an Online Only Product, please email the Cashbuild Online Support Team at cashbuildonline@cashbuild.co.za. Kindly include your order number and the reason for your exchange or return request.
2.5. Refunds will only be processed once the third-party supplier has received and inspected the product.
2.6. Products that have been used, purposefully damaged, or tampered with cannot be refunded or exchanged.
2.7. Cashbuild Stores do not process returns and refunds for Online Only products and cannot accept them in any store.
