Cashbuild Online Deliveries
1. Online Delivery
1.1. We will deliver any ordered product throughout the Republic of South Africa.
1.1.1. Kindly note that instances may occur where deliveries fall outside of Cashbuild’s delivery capability.
1.1.2. Delivery and handling fees may be applicable and will be reflective upon checkout.
1.2. We endeavour to deliver within two (2) to five (5) working days, excluding bricks and cement, to the designated delivery address.
1.3. Cashbuild delivers from Monday to Saturday. There are no deliveries on Sundays and public holidays unless exceptions are communicated.
1.4. We use third-party delivery contractors to deliver all products. As such, the delivery process is not entirely within our control, though we strive to ensure timely delivery.
1.5. Off-loading Zones: The delivery team will offload within a maximum of 2 meters on either side of the truck.
1.6. Out-of-stock delays will be communicated with the online customer and will be resolved without unjustified delay.
1.7. Only the registered customer or a nominated person may check and sign for goods delivered. If the customer is not available, the truck will return to the store at the customer’s expense.
1.8. If the goods are incorrect or damaged upon delivery, please do not accept them. Indicate on the delivery invoice which goods were incorrect or damaged along with the quantity, and ensure it is countersigned by the delivery truck driver. If you realize any defects after accepting, please contact us immediately or email us at cashbuildonline@cashbuild.co.za.
1.9. Depending on the size of your order, there may be multiple deliveries. The tax invoice should match the delivered order.
1.10. Online Delivery Status
We have the following delivery statuses that indicate the status of your order:
- 1.10.1. Full Order On Its Way – The order is on its way to you.
- 1.10.2. Partial Order On Its Way – Part of the order has been delivered, with possible partial deliveries dependent on the order size.
- 1.10.3. Order Delivered – The complete order has been delivered.
- 1.10.4. Delivery Rescheduled – If no one was home to receive the order, it will be returned to the Cashbuild store for delivery the next working day.
- 1.10.5. Order Cancelled – If you no longer require the order, you may cancel it. If the order has been dispatched, the delivery fee will not be refunded. Contact cashbuildonline@cashbuild.co.za for refund requests.
2. Online Collections
Cashbuild does not offer collections for ordered products. For alternative arrangements, contact the store where you placed the order. Only the registered customer may collect the order, providing proof of purchase and identification.
3. Online Delivery and Handling Fees
3.1. Delivery Fees
3.1.1. A delivery charge applies and is based on the distance from the selected Cashbuild store to the delivery address.
3.1.2. Orders below R650 invoice value incur a R100 delivery fee.
3.1.3. Additional delivery costs apply for deliveries outside of our zones, with quotations available at checkout.
3.1.4. Orders outside of Cashbuild's capability will not be processed, with notifications provided at checkout.
3.1.5. The total delivery fee will be reflected in your checkout.
3.1.6. Delivery fees are non-refundable.
3.2. Handling Fees
3.2.1. Additional handling fees apply for bricks, blocks, roof tiles, and cement to ensure effective unloading.
3.2.2. Handling fees are charged in addition to the delivery fee and depend on the ordered quantity.
3.2.3. The total handling fee will be shown at checkout.
3.2.4. Handling fees are non-refundable.
4. Online Only Products and Deliveries
4.1. “Online Only” products are marked accordingly and are available exclusively online.
4.2. These products can only be purchased online and are unavailable in Cashbuild stores.
4.3. “Online Only” products are available only for delivery; no collection options are available.
4.4. Deliveries are managed by an external logistics company, and fees vary based on order size.
